Who Am I?
This is me, Jack Kirsop. I am the man behind Kirsop Media.
Ok, so whilst I can’t promise you an enchanted moving portrait like the kind you’d see at Hogwarts, I can promise you a versatile professional with the skills, experience and style that you’re looking for. And that’s worth more than magic. Legend has it, I’ve been gifted with the power of tetrachromacy. That means I can see beyond the normal realms and variety of the colour spectrum (don’t ask me for proof!). But that’s what makes me such a skilled craftsman, and the reason I know your search for a photographer or videographer will end right now!
What’s my background?
I’m one of those lucky people who genuinely lives to work. Since graduating from The University of Lincoln with a BA(Hons) in media production, I’ve been fortunate to pursue the dream I’ve had since I was a child. You’ll see from my portfolio, I’ve worked on projects for a wide range of clients from sports clubs, corporate companies, even an award winning theatre school. I’ve honestly loved working on them all.
What am I most proud of?
My two great passions in life are music and media and I’m in my element when I can combine them both. I do a lot of event and concert photography and was incredibly honoured to shoot at Slam Dunk Festival and even invited to the monumental Download Festival with my camera. I think my adoration shows in all my work. Especially when I see bands praising and sharing my images on Instagram. A picture really does speak a thousand words and multiple images of mine have been used as single artwork for streaming services!
Where am I based?
I reside in Birmingham but I’m happy to travel all over the UK with my precious collection of professional grade equipment. My girlfriend complains I give my camera more attention than her, but it takes great dedication and persistence to perfect the skills needed to use it. That’s what sets me apart from your average Joe. I love to experiment and adapt my techniques to ensure you receive a high quality creation whether static or moving. And because I know it like the back of my hand, I’ll spend less time setting up and more time shooting the good stuff- you!
